First one of the year was a great success with new products to learn about and play with. Clare Annal attended and in her words:

“Fantastic day today at the Wella Studio in London, I was lucky enough to attend the bursary course on some of the new Wella products. The day was called ‘learn and play’, Julie Dowen did a superb job of educating us on the new WellaPlex and some of us had first hand experience by having a stand-alone hair treatment and the results were very impressive. We also had great fun with The new colour fresh create, which is a complete semi-permanent colour of 12 pure vibrant shades and one clear shade to create some more diluted pastelised colour tones, these colours are amazing I don’t even do these crazy colours normally but I love the way I’m inspired to get them and practice on my dummy heads, they last approx. 20 shampoos depending on the porosity, and can be used on grey hair.

We were also introduced to Wella’s colour Re-new, which is a zero damage colour reducer to adjust change and correct undesired colour results, and we tested it out on some of the colour swatches with the Colour Fresh Create bright pigments on and again we were amazed how they lifted out so well. Then Julie created a bespoke colour from the Colour Fresh Create and applied it on one of our colleagues with fabulous results. Thank you all for a fab day and great company and a massive thank you to Julie for all her inspiration.”
