Exploring and Understanding Different Hair Ethnicities. Hair Classification. Watch various videos throughout the day to understand and appreciate hair textures, from waves to curls and coils. Brief overview of Type 1 and 2 hair. Exploration of Type 3 and 4 hair. Understanding porosity. Anne will demonstrate shampooing techniques for Afro-textured hair. Freehand cutting on a wig. Demonstration on achieving beautiful defined curls. Talk on colouring textured hair. What is included? A synthetic wig will be provided for freehand cutting with clippers. Wigs cost £11.00 on the day or you can bring your own. What do I need to bring? You will need to bring hairdryer, cutting and styling tools.
