- Exploring and Understanding Different Hair Ethnicities.
- Hair Classification.
- Watch various videos throughout the day to understand and appreciate hair textures, from waves to curls and coils.
- Brief overview of Type 1 and 2 hair.
- Exploration of Type 3 and 4 hair.
- Understanding porosity.
- Anne will demonstrate shampooing techniques for Afro-textured hair.
- Freehand cutting on a wig.
- Demonstration on achieving beautiful defined curls.
- Talk on colouring textured hair.
What is included?
A synthetic wig will be provided for freehand cutting with clippers. Wigs cost £11.00 on the day or you can bring your own.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring hairdryer, cutting and styling tools.
You will also need to provide your own lunch.
