Agenda of the day Anne Veck VT. Exploring and Understanding Different Hair Ethnicities. Hair Classification. Watch various videos throughout the day to understand and appreciate hair textures, from waves to curls and coils. Brief overview of Type 1 and 2 hair. Exploration of Type 3 and 4 hair. Understanding porosity. Anne will demonstrate shampooing techniques for Afro-textured hair. Freehand cutting on a wig. Demonstration on achieving beautiful defined curls. Talk on colouring textured hair. What is included? A synthetic wig will be provided for freehand cutting with clippers. Wigs cost £11.00 on the day or you can bring your own. What do I need to bring? You will need to bring hairdryer, cutting and styling tools. You will also need to provide your own lunch. Exclusive FHA Members Offer The cost of this workshop for FHA Members is £130.00 inc VAT. Afternoon Session: Hands-on Recreations: Get hands-on experience recreating looks from the "Spirit" collection on a mannequin head. Formulate Colour on swatches. The Power of Collaboration: Discover the transformative power of collaboration in creative work. Refine Your Skills: Perfect your cutting and colouring techniques under Anne's expert guidance. Who Should Attend? Experienced Hairdressers: This session is designed for hairstylists with at least a Level 3 qualification or three years of salon experience. Creative enthusiasts, aspiring hairstylists, and those passionate about colour will also benefit from attending. Hairdressers interested in entering competitions or exploring innovative colouring techniques will find this session invaluable. Do I need to bring anything? We'll be using blonde hair swatches to practice color formulation, which will be provided. Attendees will need to bring a blonde mannequin head for full color application. We'll primarily be using direct color from my Davines color stock. Remember, the techniques and concepts learned with one color brand can easily be applied to other brands, so attendees will be able to recreate these looks with the color of their choice. Duration and Certification: Duration: 1 full day 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Certification: Participants will receive an attendance certificate upon completion.
