The FHA together with Wella we are able to give you an amazing opportunity to spend a day at a Wella Studio in London or Manchester on a one-day theory/workshop course at a fraction of the regular cost! Studio courses cost in excess of £200 the Training Bursary costs just £60 inc. VAT. Each date has only 6 places available so book now to avoid disappointment!
FHA Bursary 2023
Come and join the Wella education team for a day of inspiration, creation and expression. Discover how to build your colour business through bespoke, personalised craftsmanship enhancing your clients looks and accentuating their skin tone.
You will deepen your understanding of colour choice, explore no strings attached colour services and create beautiful images for your social media.
The morning session will be an active group discussion, fun, directional as well as self-discovery. Focusing on areas totally relevant to the individual needs of independent colourists.
The afternoon session is a workshop with an opportunity to take images using ring light and studio space to then post on social media using relevant hash tags.
What is an FHA Training Bursary?
The FHA Training Bursary is set up to provide financial assistance to support our members. Each Training Bursary course is exclusively created for the FHA members with colour theory and product knowledge in the morning and a hands-on workshop in the afternoon providing an opportunity to experiment and play with new colours and products and learn correct colour placement and techniques with the expert guidance of Wella technicians.
Many members have taken advantage of these fantastic days at the Wella Studios in Manchester and London. Wella offer these days exclusively for FHA members. Use them or lose them!

Do blondes really have more fun?
We can neither confirm nor deny. Creating the best blonde can be a challenge, but we’ll give you all you need to know to master lightening and toning services. The beautiful blonde hair trends and techniques will inspire you to achieve the best blonde results. These are workshop days in the London and Manchester Academies.
This session includes a work shop, please bring your working kit Combs, section clips, brushes, etc.
Colour Blocking – Creating Bold Blondes using fearless placement

- Applicants must be a member of the Freelance Hairdressers’ Association
- Applicants must have valid PL Insurance
- Failure to attend the training course will result in the full value of the course being charged.
