Your Qualifications
Details of all qualifications you have achieved and the date that each was awarded are required to validate your membership and FHA Insurance.
On completion of your application you will have your own FHA Account. From this account you can upload scans of your documents in the qualifactions section. Reciept of these documents ensures your insurance cover is in place.
If you have lost copies of your qualifications, don’t panic! Contact us and we can send/email an FHA Letter of Competency to you which needs to be completed and signed by a long-standing client or supplier to verify your skills as a hairdresser. As soon as we receive the returned letter your FHA insurance cover will be valid. The letter can be scanned and uploaded in your account in the qualifications section, or emailed to: enquiries@thefha.org.uk or sent by 1st Class post to: FHA, Hart House Business Centre, Kimpton Road, Luton LU2 0LB.
Provided you meet the membership criteria, you will have 7 days complimentary insurance from the date of joining. This gives you time to provide evidence of your qualifications, without which the insurance coverage of your membership will be revoked until adequate evidence is provided.
